In what could be a major blow to the firearms industry in the United States, the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled today that parents of Sandy Hook victims can move forward with a lawsuit against Bushmaster Firearms International, a subsidiary of Remington.

Smith & Wesson is issuing a safety warning on all M&P15-22 products made before February 1, 2019. These M&P15-22 rifles and pistols may be unsafe to use.

An Indiana man has been hospitalized and could face criminal charges after he accidentally shot himself in the genitals with a Hi-Point 9mm.

Officials in Little Rock, Ar., have released video footage of a February incident in which a police officer fired 15 rounds into the windshield of a stolen vehicle while lying on the hood of the car. The driver of the vehicle died at the scene while the officer sustained minor injuries.

Florida state Senator Jason Pizzo, and state Representative Shevrin Jones have introduced virtually identical bills in their respective legislative chambers for consideration. The bills would make it a misdemeanor offense for a minor to publish a picture of a firearm on social media.
