In a sane world, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) would jump at the opportunity to hold accountable such a high-profile figure. To no one’s surprise, they don’t appear to be doing anything of the sort.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis indicated this week that a special legislative session may tackle constitutional carry, among other priorities, in the not too distant future.  

Bottom line, a sheriff who swears an oath to the Constitution has no legitimate reason to oppose constitutional carry.
