Early in the morning of October 10th, 2018, in Owensboro, Kentucky, a young police officer and an armed homeowner were involved in a shootout. The officer was searching a fenced area for a suspect he had been chasing.

Democrat Phil Bredesen is running for Tennessee’s U.S. Senate seat as a pro-gun moderate who can work with folks from across the aisle. If that’s the case (which is probably isn’t), his own party’s apparatus is doing a great job undermining those efforts.
