Earlier this year the Arkansas legislature created an “enhanced” concealed carry permit that allows permit holders to carry a firearm on college campuses and in government buildings.

Lawmakers introduced legislation this week that would add bump stocks and similar accessories to the National Firearms Act.  

The City Council Public Safety Committee voted Monday 6-1 on a measure that would require NYPD to hand out written warnings about the dangers of gun ownership to prospective permit applicants.
