Background Check Law Forces Museum to Return WWII Rifles

“The museum will be returning these guns to their owners because as of Dec. 4, we would be in violation of the law if we had loaned firearms that had not undergone the background check procedure,” said the Lynden Pioneer Museum in a Facebook post.

FNH makes a competition shotgun? Indeed. The FNH SC-1 Over/Under is, you guessed it, a double-barrel beauty. It’s designed expressly for clays competition, although there is nothing about it that would discourage other uses. Personally, I wouldn’t hesitate to hunt ducks or geese with it. Rifle Explodes in Girl’s Hands, Squib Load Malfunction?

So, this video’s going viral around the firearms community. It appears that the girl firing the rifle had an issue with a squib load. That is, although she apparently cleared the casing, the projectile was still in the barrel. When she fired the second round, kaboom! It exploded.
