The Laserguard Pro is new for 2016 and currently available for the Smith & Wesson Shield series of pistols

The iconic “roller-locked” series of rifles designed by Heckler & Koch (HK) have been a perennial favorite with military and tactical firearms aficionados. And, thanks to the efforts of South Carolina-based PTR Industries and its PTR-91 GI model, shooters have a chance to own a newly made version of this classic 7.62x51mm design.

Smith & Wesson made their big, new NRA Annual Meeting product announcement and it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser: meet the new S&W M&P Shield in .45 ACP.

Heckler & Koch unveiled a commercial semi-automatic version of their iconic MP5K machine pistol at this year’s NRA Annual Meeting, the SP5K. They are also adding a new model VP9 pistol with a flat dark earth (FDE) frame and factory night sights.

Anyway, at this year’s event, I happened to stop at the Gemtech station first, by pure chance and stumbled on some quiet coolness. New for 2016 is the Integra silenced AR upper receiver.
