MAJR Mechatronics is behind the A.C.E. and they brought it to SHOT Show this year. It’s a small module that attaches to a Picatinny rail (ARCA mounts can be swapped, too) and has small actuators that compensate for the small movements your gun makes to help eliminate the wobble while shooting handheld.

One aspect that delineates these guns as so-called “assault rifles” is that they have semi-automatic actions which use the kinetic energy created by firing one round to load the next into battery, making it ready to fire again.

Taking cues from their hardcore revolver fans, the handgun company is expanding its 605 line of .357 Mag. revolvers to include three-inch barrels and adding the .327 Federal Magnum cartridge to its 856 series.

The SHOT Show is always good for a few off-the-wall products, and 2022 was no exception. Leading the way was the Ounce Oz semi-auto .22 LR handgun from Third Bay, LLC.
