When the NEMO Executive Order ( XO) came in for review, I was wholly unprepared for what was about to happen. The test model was in 6.5 Creedmoor, which is a plus. Not unique, but not all that common in AR platforms yet either. Still, I wasn’t exactly looking forward to testing

It is difficult to say the Savage 110 Evolution is a vast improvement over the 110 Stealth, if only because the Stealth was so good to start with. I reviewed the Stealth chambered in 338 Lapua Magnum last summer, and dollar for dollar, it is one of the best guns I have ever picked up.

NEMO decided to team with KRG for the Dakkar and the result is spectacular. The chassis looks like something out of the space age and it contains all the features a growing boy needs. From the tool-less barrel change to the carbon fiber forend, innovation is the name of the game.

Magpul has been reaching into every corner of the firearms industry, so the release of a bipod probably shouldn’t be that big of a surprise. What is a surprise, it looks like it might be pretty good for the price.

SIG has come out swinging in the hunting optics arena this year, with the introduction of the all-new BDX line. The Ballistic Data Exchange, or BDX, is a family of range finders and scopes that work together for fast and accurate shots. Once paired, the rangefinder beams data to the scope, showing a holdover dot for a fail-safe firing solution. The illuminated dot in the scope is bright and unmistakable, and also features SIG’s anti-cant illumination dots on the left and right edges of the scope.

I’ve said it before, but 224 Valkyrie is the greatest AR development since the free float handguard, at least in my opinion. Since it’s initial release just a few months ago, it has taken the small frame AR world by storm.
