Bolt-Action

The UltraLite 7mm PRC takes advantage of the lightweight design and high-performance round resulting in a fantastic rifle for hunting the mountains or plains.

If you’re on the hunt for a rifle that seamlessly combines performance with affordability, then the Ruger American Gen II deserves your attention.

I wholeheartedly recommend this rifle without hesitation. Its reliability and adaptability make it a standout choice for shooters seeking a feature-packed and high-performing firearm.

When I think about bolt action 22s my mind drifts towards an idealized image of mid-century American shooting sports. Boy Scouts earning their rifle shooting merit badge, squirrel hunting in the freshly fallen snow, or a boy receiving his first rifle as a Christmas gift.

With its rugged construction, the rifle proves its durability, while the monolithic upper receiver serves as an ideal platform for attaching NV (Night Vision) and thermal clip-on devices.

The Backcountry 2.0 lineup is available in four configurations including a steel or titanium action with either carbon fiber or traditional fluted barrel.

One feature I really appreciate about this rifle is the reduced movement it takes to operate this gun.

Maybe it’s the affordable ammo or the novelty of a .223 Rem caliber bolt action. I can’t quite say why, but when the CZ 600 Trail hit the market, I was entranced.

When Benelli first introduced the rifle in 2019, they got a lot of things right, combining modern features hunters want in a relatively light package that delivers great accuracy.
