Here’s what makes it special. The grip can be infinitely adjusted to ergonomically fit your hand. If you run it for a while and decide that it needs to be different, no problem. Loosen the screw in the bottom and the grip resets. Put your hand on it and squeeze until it feels comfortable to your hand. Tighten the bolt. It’s like magic. Katie Lynn was kind enough to give me the one she’d showed me and I carried it for hours playing with it.

Hornady AR Gunlocker – Peace of Mind for Your Vehicle
Published: April 8, 2018 { 8 comments }The Hornady RAPID SAFE AR GUNLOCKER offers a security solution for our mid-sized long guns. It is designed to support carbine length firearms up to 40.5 inches long. The size of this unit supports all of my AR platform firearms, folding stock precision rifles, and my over/ under shotguns when broken down. To put it plainly, the Gunlocker is simply a great idea that is way overdue.
LWRCI – Patriot Brown, Just In Time For A New Lexington And Concord
Published: March 10, 2018 { 6 comments }The show stealer this week was the LWRCI PDW, but it wasn’t the only outstanding offering from LWRCI. Until we abolish the unconstitutional NFA, a full sized rifle is a much easier reach for most of us. And LWRCI happens to have that in spades. Fair warning. The MSRP on the LWRC IC-A5 is definitely [...]
SIG MCX Virtus Long-Term Endurance Test Part 2
Published: March 9, 2018 { 3 comments }Months ago, we started the SIG MCX Virtus test, to see how it would hold up under 2000 rounds suppressed. The test consisted of no cleaning or lubrication. This has also been in a variety of weather conditions if you remember me cooling the suppressor off in the snow back in December. It turns out, [...]
Ruger SR556 Takedown
Published: March 9, 2018 { 4 comments }As part of our coverage for AR week, we are leading the charge with a Ruger model sure to make a Californian crap in Xe’s pants. Ruger has been making AR’s for a while now, at a price that makes them attractive. The Ruger SR556 Takedown is by far the most expensive in the catalog, [...]

LWRC PDW – Dynamite Comes In Small Packages
Published: March 7, 2018 { 23 comments }I have been on record as disliking short barreled rifles ( SBR’s), not because I think you shouldn’t be allowed to own one, but because they are ineffective. The velocity loss from chopping a barrel below 16 inches in 5.56 caliber is catastrophic in terms of combat effectiveness, with shorter being exponentially worse. I felt [...]
M&P-10 Sport – Bargain Bin Price That Is Big On Performance.
Published: March 1, 2018 { 41 comments }I must confess that sometimes I am a bit of a gun snob, especially as it relates to rifles. I don’t have any full custom second mortgage guns, but I generally look well above the price point of the M&P 10 that came in for review this week. As a retired military sniper and [...]
