Bullets are bullets, right? Well, not really. There are a wide array of variables in bullet shape, weight, materials, and construction. Each of these variables can have a dramatic impact on the performance, and safety, of any given load. In other words, loading recipe data for one 147-grain, .308 bullet may be incorrect, and even unsafe, for another projectile of equal caliber and weight. Let’s take a closer look at some of the variables and what you need to know about each.

This gun is worth checking into if you have always wanted a small gauge field grade dove shotgun, and a traditional side by side fits the bill. The belly is really elegant and tiny, and the stock and wrist seem to be finished as well and as nice a wood grain as you’ll find in any Italian shotgun under $5,000. At $1,400, it’s a steal, and I think it’s because they are trying to get the FAIR name out there.

The biggest thing to be aware of in shooting a shotgun on the move is the amount of active muscular tension that needs to be held in your core.

Becoming a responsible concealed carrier is a challenge. It takes hard work and a real commitment. Any chucklehead can carry a gun, but to carry a gun with discretion, knowledge of the law and the ability to use it effectively in the face of imminent danger is what differentiates us from the law-breaking idiots on the street.

I wish we had all these new ideas that have become popular with new gun owners who buy stuff based on their Instagram. All those wasted years carrying a gun in a holster. I got done schooled bitches.

For any of you who have seen my years of Slidefire stock reviews, to me there is nothing cooler than a garden hose of brass coming out of the side of the gun. I’ve never even owned a Class 3 weapon. I just love slide stocks. But I have to say, I’ve had my challenges with getting magazines to run right that hold more than the standard 30 rounds. I’ve had real Beta C mags. I’ve had Korean Beta style mags. My one SureFire 60 rounder works great, but others of the breed have had some bad reviews out there. Enter the Armatac 150 round double drum mag. I’ve seen it around. It’s expensive. But supposedly it runs, with no graphite required. Hopefully we’ll see one in for a review soon.

For competition shooters and other people who are engaged in internet discussion boards, and even some of the news sites, the superiority of the Dillon progressive reloading systems as compared to everyone else is nothing new.
