The Dept. of Justice announced this week the formation of “firearms trafficking strike forces” to help combat violent crime in major U.S. cities.

Because it requires “FFL [federal firearms license] dealers to maintain personal gun owner information and records of transactions involving firearms, including their makes, models, and serial numbers—forever.”

“I’m introducing this legislation to #EliminateTheATF to protect ALL gun owners across this country from a tyrannical, power hungry group of bureaucrats who’s [sic] goal is to destroy our Second Amendment rights,” she said on Twitter.

“Unfortunately, Chicago is not unique. We are part of a club of cities for which no one wants to belong, cities with mass shootings.”

City leaders in San Jose this week approved an 11-point gun-control plan that infringes on the 2A rights of law-abiding citizens.

ATF has cooked up a scheme to directly change federal gun laws in order to foist gun control on the American people.

“California has shown that these laws work,” she continued. “Our commonsense bill would help more states enact similar laws that respect due process rights while giving families and law enforcement a way to remove guns from dangerous individuals.”
