Arken TL3000: A $600 Weapon Mounted Range Finder — SHOT Show 2026

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

At SHOT Show 2026, Arken Optics previewed the TL3000, a weapon-mounted laser rangefinder with integrated ballistic calculation and Bluetooth connectivity. The TL3000 is designed as a more accessible option in the WMLRF space, targeting a $600 price point and summer 2026 availability.

The $600 price tag should be attractive to many readers.

Arken positions the TL3000 as a practical solution for shooters who want ranging, inclination correction, and ballistic data in a single unit without breaking the bank.

Laser Rangefinding and Ballistic Features

The TL3000’s operational parameters span from 5 to 3,000 yards. Once the shooter ranges a target, the onboard ballistic calculator provides elevation and windage holds based on stored data. The unit also accounts for incline and decline angles, with the internal sensors adjusting ballistic outputs automatically.

The display layout is simple and easy to read.

The device stores up to six ballistic profiles. This allows users to save different loads or velocities for a single rifle or move the unit between rifles using the quick-detach mount.

Controls, Display, and Mounting

The TL3000 uses physical buttons rather than a touchscreen. Shooters can manually input ballistic data through the onboard menu, though Arken acknowledged this is slower than using an app. A companion ballistic app is in development to simplify setup and data entry.

A detachable flip cap protects the lenses and prevents unwanted reflection.

The display automatically rotates to keep the information upright. The device can now be mounted in the three, six, nine, or twelve o’clock positions without losing readability.

The TL3000 also includes a two-pin switch port. Arken plans to include a remote switch so shooters can activate the unit without shifting grip on the rifle.

Connectivity, Power, and Availability

Using Bluetooth connectivity, the TL3000 can communicate with external weather meters like Kestrel units. Environmental data, such as wind, temperature, and barometric pressure, can then feed directly into the ballistic calculator.

Modes and settings are selected using the button cluster on top of the unit.

The unit runs on a CR123A battery. We do not know the runtime or final weight, but the polymer housing felt light yet durable.

Arken expects the TL3000 to launch in early Q3 2026, with June or July cited as the current target window. Pricing is aimed at around $600, pending final production details.

Be sure to keep a close eye on the Arken Optics website for future details on the TL3000.
