The Road Agent has an 18.5-inch carbon steel barrel aluminum finish, aluminum receiver, scroll engraving and hand finished wooden stock and forearm.
Other features include double triggers with external hammers, allowing users to fire both barrels at once, a patent-pending de-coker system that auto-cocks both hammers when a user breaks the barrel to load it.
The MSRP is $599. You can expect street prices to be lower.
The Patent-Pending De-cocker Lever automatically sets the gun to the “Safe” position. Just move the de-cocker lever to the de-cock position and both hammers will drop without striking the firing pins. When ready to shoot, simply break the barrel to re-cock the hammers.

My test gun did NOT automatically move to SAFE when the hammers auto-cocked, despite what the press release said. Actually, I see this as an advantage. The Road Agent performed well at a Cowboy Action Shooting match I took it to last weekend.
Can the hammers be cocked manually? This shotgun needs an independent review without the manufacturers propaganda.

Aluminum receiver? Sounds like a bad idea.
Is aluminum sufficiently strong to maintain tolerances against the recoil forces of the shotshell?
Why can’t the writers ask difficult questions that are not in the company press release?
I’ve used many aluminum alloy framed handguns and aluminum alloy receiver long guns over the years with no problems whatever. This is a non-issue in my opinion as a gun writer since 1983.
Website says nothing about the chokes being fixed or removable…
The chokes are interchangeable, the Road Agent comes with five of them and a wrench.
