The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield X Performance Center Carry Comp is a polymer-frame, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol built from the Shield X platform and finished in Armornite on a stainless steel slide and barrel. It uses an integral PowerPort™ compensator paired with a ported 3.6-inch barrel to reduce muzzle rise and improve follow-up-shot control.
