FAQs

Can I use Tannerite with handgun calibers?

Tannerite requires high-velocity centerfire rifle rounds to detonate reliably; most handguns lack sufficient velocity.

What is Tannerite composed of?

It is a binary target with two inert powders mixed before use, classified as safe and non-explosive until combined.

How does Tannerite detonate?

Detonation occurs when a high-velocity bullet hits the mixed target, causing rapid oxidation and an explosion.
