Designed in collaboration with world champion shooters Jerry and Lena Miculek, the 940 JM Pro is a competition-focused 12-gauge autoloader built around a cleaner-running gas system and nickel-boron coated internal parts for smoother operation and extended service intervals. The receiver is anodized (tungsten gray for the black/synthetic SKU) and the shotgun ships optic-ready with a removable cover plate for direct RMSc-pattern micro-dot mounting. The 940 JM Pro features an enlarged, bevelled loading port and competition-style elevator and follower for fast quad-loading, an adjustable length-of-pull stock (13–14.25 in with supplied spacers), and a slim ergonomic forend with Mossberg signature texturing. Sighting is provided by a HiViz TriComp fiber-optic front sight with interchangeable LitePipes, and the gun ships with Briley extended choke tubes (Cylinder, Improved Cylinder and Modified). Chambered for 2.75" and 3" 12 gauge shells, this configuration (SKU 85111) uses a 24 in vent-rib barrel, a tubular magazine configured as 9+1 (nine in tube, one in chamber) for a 10-round total, and includes competition accessories such as a choke set and stock spacer set.
