The Winchester SXP Trap Compact is a pump-action trap shotgun sized for smaller-framed shooters and juniors. The 28-inch barrel variant (item 512297392) is chambered for 3" shells and is configured for trap competition with a shorter 13" length of pull and a nominal weight of 7.25 lb.
Built with trap-specific features, the Trap Compact includes a 5/16" trap rib paired with a TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight and an ivory mid-bead for a crisp sight picture on rising and crossing targets. The stock is satin finished with a high-profile trap comb and a traditionally checkered forearm to provide consistent cheek weld and pointability.
Performance and durability features verified for this model include Back-Bored barrel technology, the Invector-Plus choke tube system, a 3-shot adaptor with speed-plug system, a drop-out trigger group for easy cleaning, a crossbolt safety, and a recoil-reducing INFLEX technology pad.
