WW2 Saginaw S’G’ M1 Carbine Correct Grade #1815945
This is an example of a rare Saginaw S’G’ M1 Carbine, with only 192,000 made, compared to 2.6 million by Inland. This is an excellent example of a Saginaw S’G’ built M1 Carbine from the 1st block (group B) of production built from July 1943 to Sept 1943. Correct parts for this serial number range including: S’G’ high-wood stock with ordinance wheel, KV-S’G’ type 1 sling swivel, Buffalo Arms 7-43 barrel, unmarked front sight, S’G’ trigger housing, IP-A push safety, IP-W mag catch, S’G’ hammer, SW-S’G’ sear, S’G’ trigger, S’G’ slide, S’G’ flat bolt, W S’G’ extractor, S’G firing pin, and W S’G’ recoil lug. Excellent and shiny bore that measures under a 2 using a CMP gauge. No import marks. A highly collectible maker variation that appeals to both WWII collectors and shooters looking for an iconic carbine.
