The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch in matte stainless with a black synthetic stock is a semi-automatic, fixed-piston gas operated rifle built on Ruger's Mini-14 Ranch platform. This configuration features an 18.50 in barrel, a drilled-and-tapped receiver for mounting a Picatinny rail, and ships with Ruger 5-round magazines and scope rings as supplied for Ranch models.
The rifle uses Ruger's fixed piston/moving cylinder gas system with a simplified Garand-style rotating bolt, and has a protected blade front sight with an adjustable rear. The Mini-14 Ranch stainless/synthetic model is finished in matte stainless, weighs approximately 6.7 lbs, and measures about 37.50 in overall length.
