The Daniel Defense DD4 RIII from the DD4 Series is a high-performance AR-style rifle engineered for durability, precision, and fully ambidextrous operation. Chambered in 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem, it’s built to meet the demands of both professional and enthusiast shooters.

Featuring a 16" barrel with a 1-in-7 twist rate, the DD4 RIII is optimized for stabilizing a wide range of bullet weights while delivering consistent accuracy. The mid-length gas system enhances reliability and reduces recoil impulse for smoother shooting.

Constructed with a CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum receiver, this rifle offers exceptional strength while maintaining a relatively light weight of 6.52 lbs. The matte black hardcoat anodized finish ensures durability and resistance to wear.

Equipped with a 12.5" RIS III M-LOK rail in FDE, it provides ample space for mounting optics and accessories while maintaining a slim, ergonomic profile. The rifle includes Daniel Defense soft touch furniture and a collapsible/folding stock, allowing for adjustable length of pull and improved handling.

The fully ambidextrous lower receiver and ambi 2-position thumb safety make this rifle highly adaptable for both left- and right-handed users.

With a 32+1 capacity and a threaded barrel (1/2x28), it’s ready for customization with muzzle devices or suppressor-ready setups (where legal).
