This DD4 RIII is a factory-built, ambidextrous AR-style rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16" government-profile, chrome-lined, heavy-phosphate-coated barrel and 1:7" twist. It ships with a Daniel Defense RIS III 12.5" M-LOK rail and an improved DD flash suppressor.
The rifle features a fully ambidextrous lower receiver, a mid-length gas system for smoother recoil and reduced wear, and a lightweight construction (6.52 lbs). It ships with one 30-round magazine, has no iron sights installed, and overall length is listed as 32 1/4" – 35 7/8" depending on stock position.
