Gas-operated, autoloading BAR MK 3 rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 24-inch barrel. This wood-stock BAR features a Grade II walnut stock and a satin nickel–finished receiver and uses Browning’s detachable box magazine system (floorplate-attached or removable magazine) optimized for magnum cartridges.
The rifle is designed and marketed as a hunting platform: the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases (factory filler screws installed) and the action uses a seven-lug rotating bolt and integral buffering system to manage magnum recoil and improve durability. Magazine capacity for magnum calibers is three in the magazine plus one in the chamber (3+1).
