The Savage Axis 2 Pro in Forest SP Camo is a full-size bolt-action hunting rifle built around a Cerakote-finished action and a 20-inch spiral-fluted, threaded carbon-steel barrel. It ships with Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a one-piece Picatinny rail for optics mounting. The rifle feeds from a removable, flush-fitting 4-round magazine and uses a Forest SP camo synthetic stock with improved ergonomics and textured grip surfaces.
Forest SP Camo Axis 2 Pro models feature a Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish on metalwork and the spiral fluted barrel (Forest SP Camo models only). The stock is a molded synthetic with enhanced ergonomics and pebble/textured surfaces on the grip and forend. The Axis 2 Pro family is offered in multiple chamberings and in both right- and left-hand configurations.
