The Mossberg MVP Patrol is an AR-magazine-compatible bolt-action rifle built on the MVP platform. The 7.62mm NATO / .308 Win Patrol features a 16.25 in medium-bull, button-rifled, threaded barrel with an A2-style muzzle device and a factory receiver-mounted Picatinny rail. The rifle ships with front fiber-optic sight and an adjustable rear rifle sight and accepts AR10-style and M1A/M14-style magazines for the 7.62mm models.
The Patrol is fitted with a textured black synthetic stock with stippling on the pistol grip and forend, an oversized bolt handle, and Mossberg's user-adjustable Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) trigger system. Typical factory specifications list a 10+1 capacity and an approximate weight of 7.5 lbs with an overall length of 37.5 in.
