The Mossberg Patriot is a family of bolt-action rifles built on a twin-lug, push-feed machined-steel action and fed from a flush polymer box magazine. Standard Patriot features documented by the manufacturer include Mossberg’s user-adjustable Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) trigger, a spiral-fluted bolt with ergonomic bolt handle, receiver-mounted Weaver-style or Picatinny scope bases, and sling swivel studs. Patriot stocks are offered in weather-resistant synthetic or laminate options with textured stippling and a rubber recoil pad on many models.
