This Mauser 1908 was produced in Berlin by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DMW) and exported to Brazil. It is based on the Mauser 98 with minor modifications.
This particular rifle is in great condition. The rifling is strong and the bore is bright. The serial numbers on the receiver and stock match, but do not match with the firing pin. The serial number on the bolt/bolt handle is missing.
