The TRP (Tactical Response Pistol) stainless steel 1911 from Springfield Armory is a forged-frame, forged-slide .45 ACP built with a match-grade barrel and bushing and a tuned, 4.5–5 lb trigger. The pistol is finished in stainless steel and ships with Novak-style tritium combat sights and G10 composite grips with 20 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing.
