The Springfield Armory Emissary 4.25" 9mm is an all-black, forged-steel 1911 designed as a defensive-grade pistol. It features a 4.25" forged stainless steel nitride match-grade bull barrel (1:16), a forged carbon steel slide and forged stainless steel frame finished in black Cerakote, and an integral Picatinny accessory rail on the full-length dustcover. Factory sights are a tritium/luminescent front paired with a Tactical Rack U-Notch rear. The pistol ships with slim VZ Grips Thin-Line G10 panels and 9-round magazines, and has a commander-length recoil system. The Emissary 4.25" model has an overall length of 7.75" and a listed weight of 42 oz.
