Based on the M&P Shield Plus micro-compact platform, it is a striker-fired 9mm pistol with a 3.1 in barrel and ships with both a flush-fit 10-round magazine and an extended 13-round magazine. The firearm features Armornite® corrosion-resistant slide finish and a polymer frame.
Shield Plus features verified on the model family include a slide cut for optics, flat-face trigger, enhanced textured polymer grip, tritium night sights (orange-ring tritium front / black tritium rear), and M&P’s take-down/sear deactivation systems for disassembly without pulling the trigger.
