Colt GM Mk IV Ser 70

Colt Government Model Semi-Auto Pistol serial #70B54164, 45 ACP, 5” barrel with an excellent bore. This MK IV Series 70 pistol remains in terrific condition and appears to have little if any use. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original satin electroless nickel plate. The nickel plate is nicely accented with blue finished thumb safety, grip safety, bushing, recoil spring plug and trigger. The grips are Colt marked checkered rubber wrap-around by Pachmayr with gold Rampant Colt medallions in excellent condition. This gun has standard Government Model features, electroless nickel plated sights, Series 70 collet bushing and functions mechanically. The pistol includes a factory woodgrain box with Styrofoam insert although the label has fallen off and is not provided in addition to a single electroless nickel factory magazine, manual, and paperwork. The box shows light edge wear and creasing on the flaps. A beautiful example of early 1980s-manufactured (1983) Government Model.
