The Shadow Systems MR920 Combat was developed as a tactical pistol with modularity to better suit every shooter. Based off the MR918 Combat, the MR920 now features an improved dust cover with a recoil control ledge for better grip control. The addition of a NPOA backstrap system allows the user to adjust the angle of the grip to better match the shooter's aim. Included are 3 backstraps, removable magwell and backstrap removal tool.
The MR920 uses a Universal Optic Mount and allows compatibility with various optics. No longer are you dedicated to an RMR style footprint. The MR920 optic cut accommodates Trijicon RMR and SRO, Holosun 507c and 508t, Leupold Deltapoint Pro, Vortex Viper, and TruGlo Tru-Tec.
The Shadow Systems frame is not just a rebranded frame and is designed from the ground up. An improved tooling technique allows for more texture around curves and areas not usually found on production pistols. The slide and barrel is machined in-house. Barrels are machined from 416R stainless and are rifled in conventional 1:10'' twist then finished in Black Carbo-nitride. Slides are machined in 17-4 PG stainless steel and are finished in corrosion resistant Nitride with directional serrations for improved manipulation.
Uses Shadow Systems' modified Gen3 recoil system. A single spring design is user adjustable and made from high-quality chrome silicon. All internal slide components are made from billet stainless steel. A high-reliability enhanced LCI extractor uses a proprietary geometry and material selection for improved longevity and extraction.
