The Browning 1911-380 Black Label Medallion Pro is a scaled-down, single-action 1911-style pistol chambered in .380 ACP. It uses an engineering-grade composite frame with a 7075 aluminum subframe and slide rails and employs a tilting-barrel, locked-breech design. The pistol ships with removable 8-round steel magazines and features an extended ambidextrous thumb safety plus a beavertail grip safety. The Medallion Pro example features a stainless-steel barrel (4.5 in) and steel sights. Browning describes finishes that include a blackened stainless slide with brushed polished flats and offers a variety of grip options (rosewood, laminated, G-10). Models in the 1911-380 family are available with a Picatinny-style rail on the dust cover for lights/lasers on configurations that include it.
