The Colt Python Classic is a stainless-steel, six-shot double/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. This 2.5-inch Classic model ships with checkered Altamont wood grips and a ventilated underlug barrel with an interchangeable red-ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The Python uses a transfer-bar safety and forged stainless construction for the frame, barrel and cylinder. Designed and offered by Colt as part of the modern Python family, the 2.5" Classic is a compact, target-capable snub-nose revolver that balances a short overall length with the weight needed to tame magnum recoil.
