The Taurus Raging Hunter is a large-frame hunting revolver series from Taurus offered in multiple big-bore chamberings. The design uses a sleeved/angled barrel shroud with factory-tuned porting and a gas-expansion chamber to reduce muzzle rise, and an integrated full-length Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail for optics mounting.
The revolver is a DA/SA design with a fixed front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. It ships with ergonomic finger-groove grips with cushioned inserts and employs a transfer-bar safety. Finishes are offered in matte black or two-tone and barrel lengths/capacities vary by specific model within the Raging Hunter line.
