The Ruger LCR is a lightweight, compact double-action revolver built around a monolithic frame and polymer fire-control housing. The .38 Special +P LCR features a 1.875in barrel, 5-round fluted stainless steel cylinder with a durable PVD finish, and a Hogue® Tamer™ Monogrip for reduced perceived recoil.
The design uses an aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum monolithic frame and a patented friction-reducing cam for a smooth, non-stacking trigger. Standard models include a replaceable pinned-ramp front sight and an integral U-notch rear sight. The .38 Special +P LCR has an overall length of 6.50in and weighs 13.5oz, making it well suited to compact carry and defensive use.
