Overview
Zero Tolerance’s 0460 really caught my eye at SHOT this year. With its radically curved handle and upswept blade, the knife has a cool Persian influence that is hard to ignore and something one doesn’t come across too frequently in the EDC blade market.
Folded up.
The handle is made from a combination of carbon fiber and titanium, with the front scale featuring a bronze, carbon-fiber weave. It was partially 3D machined to improve its comfort. Flipping open the S35VN blade is a breeze with the KVT ball-bearing system and the titanium frame lock secures the blade nicely into place.

Impression
As mentioned, the look of the knife really drew me in. But I was also surprised by how comfortable the handle was given its radically curved design. Moreover, the action, the process of opening the knife was incredibly fast and smooth. This baby flies open! I mean, it’s almost like you’re opening a spring-assisted or fully automatic knife. You have to see it to believe it.
Look at that curved handle. It’s actually really ergonomic.
The one downside is that it’s right-hand carry only. The pocket-clip is not reversible. Sorry southpaws.
For me, this would be a great change-up EDC blade. Something to carry when you’re in the mood for something different. And given the quality of the materials (S35VN is legit), the wicked blade design and the fast action, I’m going to keep put the ZT 0460 on my wish list for 2017.
The titanium frame lock is strong and replete with a hardened steel lockbar insert to ensure there’s no wiggle.
Price and Availability
The MSRP is $225. But I’ve seen it available for preorder on Blade HQ for $180.

Yes, they are out of their f**king mind, they want your money, sad than some dumbasses will pat it.
I think you guys were looking for the Rough Rider, Combat Ready, or S&W Knives review. Cheap Chinese junk. Good Steel (CPM-S35VN) and titanium are not cheap. Look at the incredible weight of this knife, 2.3 oz. Now go weigh your S&W lock-back folder of similar size. Check out the grind on this knife, compared to the grind on a cheap knife. Admittedly, Buck does an excellent job with their grinds for a budget knife. I once bought a cheap Paki knife to keep in the car to cut wild asparagus. Even sharpened it would not cut through asparagus. Just a hunk of steel with a wedge ground into it.
I take it you guys will not be buying a Mad Dog Knife any time soon?

For a knive with lines like a Ferrari and performance to match it seems like a good price. As stated before, this is a good quality knife. I don’t have a use for cheap knives. I’m getting one.

Looks like a nice piece, but the extra quarter inch of blade could be worrisome in parts of the country where that extra fraction of an inch could get you in trouble. If they’d make the same design just a bit smaller & send it out with a 2.99″ blade I’d be standing in line to snap one up. Just my $.02 worth . . .
