WATCH: Phoenix Homeowner Uses Firearm to Chase Away Four Intruders
It appears the four intruders did not expect the homeowner to be armed.

Not one, not two, not three, but four home intruders tried to break into a Phoenix home earlier this month, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The homeowner, who has not been identified, was notified of the intruders’ presence via their motion-activated surveillance cameras, and they were able to retrieve a firearm and shoot at the suspects as soon as they kicked in the door.

“As four males, some of who appear to be armed in the video, kicked in the front door, the homeowner discharged a gun toward them,” stated Sgt. Ann Justus.

In the video, the men can be seen emerging from a silver or gray four-door vehicle and approaching the home while the car remains parked on the street with its lights on.

One of the suspects, who appears to be wearing black latex gloves, spots a camera on the porch and tries to cover it with his hand. He covers it for only a few seconds until he is joined by another suspect, when he appears to remove a handgun from his pocket.

Together, the two suspects kick in the door and try to enter while the other two follow behind.

As soon as they step across the threshold, they jump backwards and run away as debris and smoke fly around them.

It’s unclear if any of them were wounded in the shootout, but at least one of them failed to get in the getaway car as it drove away. Phoenix PD includes footage from another house that appears to show the suspect running down the street.

Police still haven’t apprehended the suspected armed robbers. Anyone with any information is being asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-TESTIGO for Spanish).

The north Phoenix neighborhood where the incident took place does not appear to be a high-crime area relative to other parts of the city, according to the LexisNexis Community Crime Map. But there have been several incidents of criminal violence in the last few months, including an armed robbery, a sexual assault, and several burglaries.

Next time these punks come back they will probably be using some nice brand new night vision goggles they picked up on the black market, ya know all those thousands of Pairs Biden left behind in Afghanistan.don’t worry only 14 thousand pairs of $100K a piece NODS…

  • Bwa Ha August 27, 2021, 5:35 pm

The homeowner needs some more range time. But, good for him for standing his ground! Those cowards ran pretty fast for being as seemingly out of shape as they appeared to be on the videos. Proof, fat boys can run when they have an incentive to.

Bravo for our Second Amendment, bravo for alert, trained, armed, peaceful homeowners. And Biden wants to change all of that…

So how many K’s you got on your belt when they broke into your house. Did you get a shot off within 2 seconds of the door coming in? Come on. You got a gun in your upstairs bedroom and woulda been caught off guard. I find the biggest talkers the least prepared. Shoot, get them to leave, lawyers have to go elsewhere. Great job, without the “I coulda done better” mantra.

    • DELCO August 30, 2021, 1:46 pm

More range time. Your experience is standing in a booth while shooting a piece of paper hanging a few yards away. When you want to get tactical BWA HA what do you push the button so your paper target flys away a few extra yards. Love to know about all those AARs you’ve filled out over the years BWA HA. Go ahead and Google what they are is probably your next move . If you want to believe in your sheltered life mind that their same situation ends with you stepping over 4 dead intruders with a smoking barrel in your hand go ahead, whatever keeps your imagination alive. But the reality is like the 99% of the other people in this same situation, you BWA HA, you would have either been taking over by these 4 punks, or hiding in the closet while on the phone with 911. But go ahead and let us know your background so we can compare. Until then stick with Xbox and paper targets a few times a year.

The question I have is why that house? The home seemed to be targeted and that they expected resistance, just not that much. The way they parked. More to the story.

~Time to purge America’s Conflict of Interest Swamp~
The majority of America’s miseries can be attributed to our leftist run so-called judicial system.
Most laws written by lawmakers over the past century are purposely written to lack intent so they will require lengthy & costly Court battles where only litigators profit from.

A search of World History on performance & opinions on the legal profession over the past several hundred years will produce a wealth of rude comments & jokes that criticize the morals & ethics of lawyers/judges.

Research will document that over the past century 76% of our law-makers have been lawyers & judges, this unlawful conflict of interest situation has turned our nation’s judicial system into a legal farce & perhaps is
our nation’s largest financial drain on taxpayer dollars.
Our nation’s Founders foresaw the political corruption we’re experiencing , they created Oath of Office Contracts for that clearly empowered Citizen’s as oath enforcers. We have thus far failed in our lawful obligation to purge our political swamps of perps who have molested our rights, freedoms & voting rights.
As it stands today our bi-partisan political houses of prostitution have sold their seats to the cartel of corporate lobbyists who select & fund their continued elections, we no longer have a representative government
Our civic actions or lack-of before the next election will determine what kind of freedoms or domination we deserve.

  • Mikial August 27, 2021, 11:48 am

I can pretty much guarantee you these vermin have already hit someone else’s home. Even if they are apprehended, they’ll be out on bail in a few days and back in business.

  • Norman Farmer August 27, 2021, 10:57 am

This worked out perfectly, kill someone outside your threshold don’t care were you live, litigation and financial ruin will follow.

    • JSK August 27, 2021, 12:07 pm

You obviously have never been in any violent altercation and do not know that in states with stand your ground law exist. Typical left tard troll

So…here in northern Colorado Springs, several months ago, a team of three YBMs armed with what appeared to be Glocks with weaponlights, used a deadbolt-defeating device quietly to enter a number of homes very late at night. They were mainly after car keys so they could steal vehicles; if cash/cards/other valuables were in the open they got those as well. They entered a number of bedrooms with sleeping occupants. I guess their intel was pretty good; they didn’t run into any dogs or surveillance systems other than the Ring cameras which caught several faces. One couple I know, both Air Force officers, were victims of this. Don’t know if the police ever made any arrests.
I now put a safety bar on my front door every night and bar my sliding doors. I also have a dog. The ready weapons are a given.

  • LJ August 27, 2021, 10:19 am

This is the reason the BLM folks (including your president) want to de-fund the police so thugs like this can terrorize law abiding citizens just trying to live their lives and get away with it. They ARE terrorist, no different the ones that knocked down the twins 20 years ago. The only difference is they are home-grown terrorist.

Why stay in school, get an education, and a good paying job like most of society when you can just steal it. If you need to kill your brethren in the process than so be it.

It’s unfortunate the home owner wasn’t able to eliminate at least one or two of those assholes.

  • Ron August 27, 2021, 10:00 am

It’s a good thing he had a security camera and was monitoring it. This video shows how quickly and easily a door can be breached. Steel security storm doors with safety glass are a good way to prevent easy entry. Also, make sure you always have quick access to a firearm. I don’t know what type of firearm was used here, but a AR or Shotgun would have been a better choice. Thugs like this need to be met with overwhelming force. This guy was lucky this time.

  • Armed and Dangerous August 27, 2021, 9:58 am

Don’t know what kind of weapon he was using but a shotgun or Shockwave or Tac 14 would have done a better job. He could have exterminated the vermin.

    • jrkmt1 August 30, 2021, 5:34 am

You can miss just as easily with a shotgun as you can with a handgun or rifle.

  • Dan crocker August 27, 2021, 9:51 am

A reminder to the detractors here. The homeowner succeeded in eliminating the threat. The perps won’t be back and the homeowner won’t have to endure years of litigation and lawsuits from the perp’s families cuz he killed their church going choir boy.

  • OldOutdoorsGuy August 27, 2021, 9:21 am

As for the homeowner not being able to hit the broadside of a barn with HIS weapon, he may have been following “Uncle Joe’s” advice and he fired a “warning” shot up into the ceiling above the door? Wow, that really works well, and it also answers a question about all that “smoke” and dust flying out the door, drywall dust being sucked out the door by the initial opening of the doorway and the A/C pushing it out the door? Just guessing here …

  • Old OutdoorsGuy August 27, 2021, 9:14 am

That second video, from the neighbor’s security camera, shows 2 of the dirtbags running away. One of them is way out in the periphery of the camera’s range and the other one is the guy with the sleeve tats who helped kick in the door. I have never been in a situation where I needed personal surveillance cameras but how does the alleged victim’s porch camera change from full color to black and white immediately after the first perp removes his hand from the camera? I would think that full color would visually enhance everything in its range as a help in finding this scum and eliminating them from their “freedom” to take other people’s property or harm others. If that first perp had a gun, he also had the potential to harm the homeowner and that shows intent.

    • KimberproSS August 27, 2021, 2:04 pm

My guess is it switched to infrared when the thug covered it with his hand.

  • SuperG August 27, 2021, 9:09 am

I tell people to arm up, as the baseball bat they have for home defense is outdated, since they travel in packs in now, like Hyenas.

  • Mark August 27, 2021, 8:16 am

Homeowner needs some marksmanship training — or practice. With two human sized targets crowding a door sized space, shooting for center mass, somebody should have been seriously/critically wounded or killed outright. Even the seven ring should bring someone down. OR . . . maybe they just need a bigger gun. Scaring them away might be OK for the moment, but long term it isn’t good enough. It’ll just give them an adrenaline rush that — later — will seem like fun. But when a “job” like that ends up with three guys where there were four, or two where there were three, that’s when they’ll give some thought to finding a new line of work that they are liable to survive longer.

    • Big Al 45 August 27, 2021, 9:53 am

A ton of assumptions in that post, I’ll wager they never return to that particular house.

      • Mark August 27, 2021, 3:03 pm

I agree with you Big Al 45. They won’t return to this house. My point is that neither will they decide to find another line of work. Next it’ll be my house or yours. I’d rather the homeowner was a better shot and dropped one or two of them. Maybe the others would decide that they’d be better flipping burgers for $15 an hour at McDonald’s than dodging lead aimed at them by those who won’t be victims. That would help us all out!

The home owner should’ve at least hit the two assholes that kicked the door in. If that was my house; they wouldn’t be running away.
