Presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke got an earful from a Connecticut woman this week while making a campaign stop in Newtown.
While talking gun control at the town’s community center before advocates from anti-gun organizations like Moms Demand Action and the Newtown Alliance, one woman — a pro2A audience member — stood up and called the former Democratic Congressman to the proverbial carpet.
“They’re here to hijack this town and to try to make an issue out of getting guns out of good peoples’ hands that can make a difference,” Rebecca Carnes exclaimed during the meeting, as local news affiliate Fox61 reported.
No doubt that Carnes was referencing Beto’s mandatory buyback scheme, which is the cornerstone of his plan to “combat violence in America.”
To fund the mandatory buyback of “assault weapons” and the voluntary buyback of handguns, Beto will increase the excise tax on gun makers. And those who refuse to turn their modern sporting rifles over to the ATF “will be fined,” according to his website.

Carnes continued while the organizers tried to rein her in, “No, this is bullsh*t”!
“What do you have to say about mental health? What do you have to say about urban violence?”
“You don’t care,” she continued. “The Democrats have been in charge of urban communities and cities for decades. The Democrats have failed. They don’t care about you, sir,” she said, addressing one of the attendees.
Carnes isn’t wrong. Chicago is a prime example. It hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1931. And its struggles with gun-related violence are well documented. This year alone, there have been 1,633 shootings and 382 murders.
It’s not clear if Beto actually addressed Carnes’ concerns. But he did make a point to mention the 2012 tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, while suggesting that the larger Newtown community stands behind his gun-seizing agenda.
“I know that the people of this community understand this better than perhaps any other community in this country and not just the devastation, the grief and the lost, but what those solutions are,” O’Rourke said.
Depending on the survey you consult, Beto is polling somewhere between 0-2 percent in the race for the 2020 Democratic Presidential Nomination.
Beto is now a has-been loser. He stopped his run for President. He just ought to keep his fucking mouth shut now. But the media will probably still follow him around because he hates Trump and so does the media.
So thAAAat’s why he suddenly quit. The POS Mexican wanna-be cowered like a child before this woman. He wants to be referred to as Beto to show how he’s part of that pervasive big government mentality so prevalent in communities with large Hispanic demographics. That coward caters to a demographic that cow tows to big government. Most if not all of those immigrants, as well as illegals, have been raised with socialist values that demand that citizens be beholden to big government for everything–even their basic right to survive. The entire world saw how citizens of a Mexican town were terrorized into accepting criminal “rule of law.” The government’s own military couldn’t even handle those criminals. I guess that’s what that POS Robert Francis wants for this country as long as the democrats continue their corrupt policies, which eventually destroy all communities that are affected.

To Josh and Farnsworth: If this lady did not “help the cause’ or did not “impress this conservative”, then maybe one of you guys should step out from behind your blinds with courage enough to be heard, regarding the cause and what impresses you, as that lady did. As for me, I was very impressed by Rebecca Carnes’ fearlessness and how she got in their faces and was undeniably heard. The radical left has for too long, done a superb job (I’m sorry to say) at keeping conservatives down and silent. We should stop seeking to be impressed and instead take action to beat down the lawlessness that emanates from the left. 1. “BUYBACK” is a misnomer, no one or agency can buyback something that it never owened or Sold.
2. “BUYBACK” as used in the U.S. has always been With VOLUNTARY participation by persons wanting to dispose of firearms in that manner.
3. ALL forms of “TAKING” property involuntarily from persons is CONFISCATION.
4. Laws that force CONFISCATION only have power when there is substantial criminal penalties for non compliance.
5. Under involuntary “BUYBACK” programs the “funds” paid can’t compensate for the loss of capability and never full cost/value.

We have violence in our society because politicians always manage to put themselves before their constituents and leave those constituents disenfranchised. The legislature has allowed history and civics to become virtually nonexistent so those constituents are left out at sea in a rowboat with no oars. THAT’s why we have shooters and such division in this country; too many people being cast adrift while opportunistic leaders keep padding their own nests.
