A California homeowner fired his concealed gun last weekend to protect his wife and baby after armed intruders attacked him.

Surveillance cameras caught the footage of the homeowner arriving home with a drink and keys in his hands around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

According to KTLA, the intruders jumped over the wall into the gated driveway.

One of the two intruders ran up behind the homeowner, as seen in the footage. The homeowner was wearing earbuds at the time.

According to ABC7 Eyewitness News, the homeowner was not about to let those intruders get inside as they intended.

“I have a 5-month-old baby and my wife and a nanny in the house,” the homeowner, who has chosen not to disclose his name, said. “That wasn’t going to happen.”

The homeowner does not know whether his shots hit the intruders. He has a valid concealed carry permit for California.

After reporting the incident to 911, the homeowner expressed confidence that the intruder would be stopped.

“It’s a matter of time before these people get caught,” the homeowner said. “I think they should just pick a new career before they do end up in jail.”

Priorities Straight

This homeowner has prioritized protecting the most important parts of his life.

“There was nothing in my house that was worth dying for,” the homeowner said, “but I would die for my family.”

His family was luckily not injured, and police are now investigating the home invasion.

“If anyone else tries to come, they’re going to die for trying to come into this house,” the homeowner said.

It was reported that his concealed carry permit was revoked for unknown reasons. The fact that criminals are emboldened by the government disarming of law abiding Americans is proof gun laws cannot legislate evil.
