It is a rare day when you don’t hear something about the militarization and overreach of the police in America. Just this week Ron Paul came out with a statement about the police in Philadelphia, who have had a nasty habit of confiscating the homes of over 500 families whose children have been caught with controlled substances. If you live in any kind of city or suburb, you have already seen the militarized cops, replete with armored vehicles. As we are so careful at the range to not sweep anyone with a loaded gun, these cops are very happy to point loaded weapons right at innocent Americans, just because they can. We saw that after the Boston bombing, the residents of Watertown and Newton Massachusetts celebrated the boot jacked thugs who dragged people out of their homes and put their feet on their heads, in search of one, unarmed, man.
But what if you live in flyover country? What if your local police and Sheriffs have already either joined Oathkeepers or have on their own declared that they will never violate the constitution if ordered by the President or other bought and paid for politicians, even it the event of a disaster? Do you feel safe? Do you feel like the black suited stormtroopers will never knock at your door?
Think again. Because the executive branch of the US Government doesn’t just command the police. They also command the military, and as recent changes to the US Army Civil Disturbances manual reflect, not only is that military planning and training for a war with the citizens, nobody is even going to remember that the military is not supposed to do that, no matter what.
The 2005 version of the manual is clearly meant to apply to outside the continental US, and contains a thorough explanation of why US forces should not be policing our streets.
In 1871, the Posse Commitatus act was signed into law. It was created because the US Army had been used to occupy the South after the Civil War, and abuses from that era were so egregious that it was decided this should never happen again. In 2006, George W. Bush specifically, and covertly, as part of the 2007 Defense Authorization Bill, dismantled Posse Comitatus.
Section 1076 is titled “Use of the Armed Forces in major public emergencies.” It provided that:
The President may employ the armed forces… to… restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition… the President determines that… domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order… or [to] suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy if such… a condition… so hinders the execution of the laws… that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law… or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.
The 2005 manual explains each piece of nonlethal gear. The 2014 manual omitted the specific gear section. Is it because they knew the manual would come out to the public and they didn’t want us to see all of their cool new stuff?
Since that time, the laws were further cleaned up to not conflict with the Insurrection Act of 1807, and in In 2011, U.S. President Barack Obama signed National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 into law. Section 1021(b)(2) extended the definition of a “covered person”, i.e., someone possibly subject to detention under this law, to include:
A person who was a part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces.
That means that if you unwittingly bought a pocket knife from an Ebay seller in Pakistan who the government has deemed supporting “the terrorists,” then did the belligerent act of not allowing a police officer into your home without a warrant, you could be on that list.
If this sounds like a meaningless connection of dots from someone who is just trying to scare you, check out the difference in the treatment of Posse Commitatus from from the 2005 Civil disturbances manual, compared to the April 2014 version.
This is the 2005 version. It clearly prioritizes the Posse Commitatus Act and explains to the Federal troops reading it that local law enforcement is in charge:
It of course covers exceptions, but if you read them, it is clear that at the time, 2005, four years after 911, the military was still being informed that the only way they should get involved is if the Constitutional rights of the citizens were in danger, or if Federal property was at risk of damage:
Compare that to the 2014 version. Now that the law has been gutted, Posse Comitatus is only mentioned in passing, as part of a very mean manual clearly meant to instruct the US Military in Nazi SS 101. It gives lip service to the fact the US Constitution forbids it, but read further:

What I find mot interesting is that there are many parts of the manual that haven’t changed. For instance this Graduated Response Matrix sample card has not changed since 2005. This manual was made for CONUS and OCONUS (inside and outside the continental US),
so when you see a Youtube video that shows our US Military firing on unarmed civilians, this is one of the places that it is documented training. Americans have no problem lighting up a 1986 Honda Civic in Iraq whose occupants couldn’t read the sign saying stop. But the same manual is going to be used against you when you protest after the bank holiday that confiscated 50% of your bank account because the system was “too big to fail.”
A lot of people are finally waking up to the fact that the reforms post-911 weren’t necessarily the best thing for the future of America. We took so much for granted, and who even knew what the Posse Commitatus Act was before it was eroded, and before the US Military was being used to staff drunk driver checkpoints?
These days the US Military trains on mock US towns recreated on their on army bases. Is this the America you want to live in? Wake up and share this knowledge. It isn’t too late.
Please share this knowledge with others. The abuses of government have become so brazen that it appears they don’t care anymore if they get caught. Just over the past year we saw the public disclosure of full American looking towns built on military bases made specifically to train the troops to fight against us. It is ironic that anyone would ever think we are safe from the government. Police, NG, and so on are just the enforcers from the executive branch such as the DOJ and DOD. And there is no way any of us can do anything about it. Preppers make these chest thumping statements when they fully know that when the SWAT arrives, or the 82d Airborne hides in their trucks just up the steet, or when the helicopters fly overhead and the drones too, that these preppers will cave. Not one of us can deal with government given communications and coordinations. These men wearing body armor do what they are told to do and when they shoot the citizens then we might give them R&R or a bronze medal with valor as their just rewards. Yes, we will have widespread civil unrest and it is a given that a smaller population is better than larger ones. Whether the cause is frozen ATMs or lotted grocery stores, the fact remains the government will restore order by lethal means. So, get over it. The government rules and taking property with other assets just means you too are making sacrifices for the good of our government. That is why we are here! The only true value we have as we live in our small home in some urban neighborhood is to produce children who will too work for wages so that that the excess flows into the pockets of Wall Street. Our true and only real value comes from the creation of low income low skilled workers that produce more than any of us are paid. Median Americans were paid $52k five years ago, now we are paid $48k. Highly compensated (defined as making $200k or more) were paid on average $245k; now they are paid $275 in the same time. The pay gap has gotten larger. So forget about surviving when your only real choice is to behave yourselves and work until you drop. Else the cops will come get you and the army of snipers are narrowing their MOAs.
We have a government that is evil, corrupt and stupid. We are being ruled by people (of both major political parties) who are tyrannical and self-serving, consumed by political ideology and lust for power, and who see no limit to their power, other than what they think they can get by with (and don’t understand, or care about the results of their actions, as long as they think they are benefiting in some way).
The education and news industries have been co-opted and dominated by people who support this sort of ideologically-driven, all-powerful government, resulting in a populace that generally has no knowledge of the Constitution’s limits on the power of government, and a news media that usually fails to even mention illegal usurpations of power by all branches of government, let alone debate, or contest them (or provoke the public to do so). If the public is unaware of what government is doing, and the illegality of most of it, it will do nothing to try to restrain it.
If this situation continues, government is eventually going to impose conditions on the public that they will not tolerate (whether, or not, they understand that government has no legitimate authority to do most of what it’s doing), and we will see the results of all these unconstitutional laws, and their translation into regulations and orders to the military. Our only hope is that there are enough officers, soldiers, police, etc. who will refuse orders to go to war with their fellow citizens. God help us.
Use of the military to assist in law enforcement, controlling civil unrest, etc. should be limited to state militia/National Guard, under command of a governor. Federal troops have no role, other than in case of foreign invasion, or nationwide disaster beyond the resources of individual states to deal with (and in disaster situations they should be under state control, not federal).

We are being set up for civil unrest.
Good Americans are being let go in the Military that answer no to the question “would you be able to fire on American citizens and raid homes?”
Sick and diseased people are being taken by CDC to all parts of the country and held in undisclosed locations.
Congressmen, mayors and Governors who try to find out where these locations are get no answer.
If civil unrest occurs and our enemy and chief uses his executive powers, he will call on his buddy’s from the UN to kill and round up Americans. (basically attack the now brain dead America)
The top richest people want a new world order not a United States.
These people think they will be left to rule their new utopia without all of us in the way.

At the end of this enlightening (at least to me) article, the author suggests that we spread the word… and that’s exactly what I intend to do. My first target was my wife: When I mentioned that I was reading about Posse Comitatus, her reaction was “??????”, so I had to refresh her memory about the movie “Tank”, wherein the local gendarme asked James Garner if he had called him a “Pussy Communist”… she remembered… but how many Americans actually will know what the hell we’re on about unless we can TRULY enlighten them? But I’m actually very calm and calculative.
It is real hard to “enlighten” people because it’s so mind blowing it takes a while to sink in. Or at least come to their consciousness.

Quick story;
One morning while drinking coffee, looking out my back window at how foggy it was (so foggy you could barely make out the neighbors roof 40 ft away) I saw 2 flaming balls that looked like marshmallows on fire, dripping what looked like burning melted plastic, but coming down in a straight laser-like fashion, not trailing.
I calmly called my wife over to look at the UFO’s I was looking at. She thought I was kidding and never believed they existed until that moment. After they zipped off in 2 directions, we sat there trying to figure out how could we see fire through that thick of fog? And why did the “flaming dripping plastic” come down in straight lines when it was moving so fast? Who the hell can believe that? You don’t right now. But it’s true.
Anyway that’s just one of many I’ve seen, and these days I keep a very open mind about all.
Since then my wife has now witnessed many UFOs as well, .and knows they exist.
But she still has a hard time believing all the other crazy ass stuff going on these days. Catching my drift?

I have way too much to say about education, coming from a family where my Dad, Mom, Brothers and sisters are all involved with being Teachers, Bus Drivers, Crossing Guards, Maintenance workers (me). My wife runs an elementary school. My daughter just finished college to become a Teacher. My son helps kids as an Instructional Aid at an elementary school. I’m in it deeply.
My view may sound radical to you though;
1. Supply our children with PC’s at home to educate them.
Sell the land or make a park out of it. Think of the money saved on maintaining that property.
Kids don’t need to be influenced by children that have poor parental guidance or teachers with views not related to our state requirements.
Hire Qualified Teachers who network with children at home and can be monitored so as to keep everyone on the right track.
The social gathering aspect of schools make no sense these days and in fact are harmful.
Kids sadly will not give up their PC or phones, and over use them for social networking already.
Find more wholesome family oriented ways of getting together.
We could save tons of money this way. Think of all the transportation costs, including traffic accidents and insurance. The masses walking down the street to school and the crimes that occur; fights, kidnapping, vandalism, trespassing. Time wasted and tension gained. Not very peaceful in the neighbor hood at pick up and drop off times.

It is Impudent to the World needs and dose not have our best interest in its actions.

Anyone paying attention is worried, regardless of who is in power. Whoever is in charge will use whatever is available to their own advantage, to some degree. All law should be evaluated from the point of whether you would approve of government having such power if your worst enemies were in control, because some day they will be.

In the early 70’s during the Boston riots, I was a member of the 82nd Airborne. I was sniper with one of the units. They had us check the zero of our weapons and prepared us for deployment to Boston. There were already ground troops from the 82nd on the ground in Boston hidden in trucks ready to deploy. My unit openly trained from riot control with M-16’s and batons with the news present. The riots calmed down after that, otherwise they were prepared to deploy us in force.
And would you have fired on American men and women and kids?
I’d fire on a dude I see breaking into a small business, or hurting another American, like steeling their car at the stop light simply because the chaos creates an opportunity to do wrong. I’m more sickened by some Americans than I am with politicians.

First, the author of this story is so far off that I’m confused. The Posse Comitatus Act was never changed or dismantled. While I admit the military manuals have been change (revised) to meet the growing demands to support Homeland issues, it was designed to prevent Active Duty military personnel from performing policing actions to Americans. By the Way, the original Posse Comitatus Act only was applicable to Marines and Sailors, it’s the manuals you are so quick to bash that extend a limit to all Title 10 active duty troops.
Now why change the manuals? Because it was the whiners and critics (anti-Bush Kool-Aid drinkers) whom within hours of Katrina reaching land whom were quick to criticize the White house for not responding quickly enough and with enough support. Guess what @$$H0!3$ that event showed many in uniform that if the military is going to ask to support our folks within our borders that the Civil Support Manuals must be updated for both legal reasons and Tort reasons. By the way, the urgency to get US military forces in the Gulf would have been greatly minimized if TWO individuals, a certain Governor and Mayor, would have just done their job and executed some protocols set in place for the exact scenario Katrina presented. Protocols the government help develop, and set in SOPs, the two said individuals were too worried they may be being “hasty to act,” as later quoted.
