Rock Island Auction is putting up some drool-worthy guns for sale this month. See deets (details) on the show below along with some video of featured and rare items, including the Ladies Home Companion, the Shansei .45ACP Broomhandle, Winchester 1893 & 1897 Pump Shotguns, among others.
Rock Island Auction Company’s February Regional Firearms Auction is going to be our BIGGEST sale yet and our first ever 4-day auction event! To be held February 19 – 22, the action on Friday, Saturday & Sunday will remain the same, but we’re opening earlier at 8:00 a.m. CST on Thursday and the action will commence at 2:00 p.m. as we begin to sell all the collectible firearms, edged weapons, ammunition, military artifacts & uniforms, book, accessories, bronzes, & parts that buyers have come to expect from these auctions.
Collectors and shooters are both welcome at a sale that will have 5-figure historical Henry rifles next to the practical sporting, hunting, and defense arms. If you seek antiques, curio & relics, modern firearms, or military weapons from decades or even centuries past, the Regional sale will have something for you. There will be rare and beautiful firearms, Civil War weapon and artifacts, scarce Winchesters, low serial numbers, red hot Colt snake guns and trench shotguns, martially inspected arms, and so much more. There are even pieces from well-received collections that have anchored our Premiere Auctions: The William Baird Colt Collection and The Estate Collection of Donald Kotecki.
Hot on the heels of our successful 2014 total of $47.5 million in sales, we’re looking to head into 2015 with a full head of steam by hosting a Regional sale that houses: in excess of 7,000 items in 3,600+ lots, including more than 700 Colts, over 600 Winchesters, 400+ Remingtons, and a bounty of more than 340 Smith & Wessons. There are over 1,000 sporting arms and nearly 1,500 military items, so be sure to start browsing our online catalog today!
