Overview
EAA had several exciting new releases at range day, mostly from the Tangfolio line. Tangfolio bills themselves as an out of the box race gun, and the examples we shot live up to that reputation. The one that grabbed my attention the most was the Witness Limited Custom in 9mm.
Specs
- Chambering: 9mm, 10mm, .40, .45 and .38 Super
- Barrel: 4.75 inches
- OA Length: 8.75 inches
- Sights: Adjustable
- Action: DA/SA
- Finish: Cerakote
- Capacity: 19+1 (in 9mm)
- MSRP: $1,539
Impression
This gun comes in a Cerakote blue finish that is absolutely beautiful. The slide rides on the frame so smoothly it feels spaced aged. Like your primitive brain can’t grasp the technology that makes steel move that silkily. Just the working parts feel like a work of art. The slide has been skeletonized, and is also drilled and tapped for optic mounts. The controls are ambidextrous, which is starting to become mandatory for pistols. The lefties have spoken. The Tangfolio grip feels a little, uh, different, but it is very comfortable, and makes the pistol point very naturally. One of my favorite features was the oversized factory mag well. It makes a reload feel like you are dropping your magazine in a trash can. Ray Charles could reload this pistol with ease. If your reload time sucks with this pistol, you can look in the mirror for who to blame.
Price & Availability
The pistol is currently available and is priced at $1,539. The result is a very capable race-ready pistol for a surprisingly reasonable price. Check it out, we are sure you will not be disappointed, we are sure you will not be disappointed, we are sure you will not be disappointed.

I like Clay’s humor and I keep coming back to his “reviews” cause most of the time they’re short and technically I just want to see good pics of the gun, if the gun shoots and/or or Clays shoots himself.
For the most part when I read his reviews it’s to get the gun’s specs and the high resolution pictures for details you may miss otherwise. In this case it’s easy to see that despite the high res pic, Clay’s excitement got the best of him:
1- He points out those ambi controls for the “lefties”, yet there is not safety on the right side. I guess those lefties are still screwed.
2- The website specifies the gun is SA yet Clay thinks it’s a DA/SA per the article.
3- Most important where can I find the damn gun. No one carries it and no mention of the availability
As many laughs and much criticism he got for the “Ray Charles” thing I think next time you’re going to use someone else’s visual impairment to bring to light how easy a task maybe you should first put on the glasses and proof read what your write since (1) & (2) above are so easy to spot yet it was a giant miss in the review.
I can’t believe these guys just did a simple video of a new weapon I WANTED to see and now I have to read all the negative comments of delirious “ASS HATS” (My new phrase) to try to deter or sabotage this advertisement for their new product. Hay fellows! If you want to razz someone go to your Facebook page and post crap about your mother-in-law and leave these guys alone to talk about their new product. You neg-a-tives need to grow up!
I have two Tangfolio pistols and they are excellent. I am sure that their race gun is the same.
High quality firearms at a good price.
Another horribly-written “article” from Guns America.
Most firearms enthusiasts don’t require the smug musings or King’s English of The New Yorker, but please employ someone with at least a middle school education rather than this functional illiterate…..
Another smug comment by a Snowflake that thinks he’s Siskel or Ebert. Hey Daffodil you mind not making broad assumptions on behalf of “Most firearms enthusiasts”, some of us enjoy Martin’s banter. If you don’t like it go read somewhere else, it’s not like you’re paying for the content IT’S FREE. If you want to make senseless personal attacks put on your pink knit hat and hitch a ride to D.C.
You sir are and Ass Hat.
If your taking the time to complain about the way this article is written then I would like to say.
You sir are and Ass Hat.
And if you don’t like my buddy Clays houmor it’s easy just stop reading and google another article probably about antiques or porcelain babydoll’s or whatever the hell you clowns like.
Or better yet take the time out of your life to write a gun review yourself and post it publicly and regularly until some publisher offers you the opportunity to do it for a living.
If you don’t wish to do those things then politely piss off
GET A BODY MIC OR SPEAK UP ABOUT THE F&Bs OF THE STINKING GUN!!! And as for the stupid analogies, SHUT UP!
Have they bothered to get with holster manufacturers on this one? Have a Match Elite 10mm with the longer factory barrel and can’t find a decent holster for it, just the nylon Uncle Mike’s. Yeah it’s an OK rig but not suitable for any type of competition.
“Ray Charles could reload this pistol with ease.” You didn’t actually say that, in public, considering all of the politically-correct BS plaguing the USA and liberal pigmentistas who want to destroy the 2nd Amendment and the shooting sports in general. Oh boy…
Here’s how it could have (and probably should have) been written: “Barney Fife wearing a blindfold in a dark room could reload this pistol with ease.”
The boy has green beanieitis. Besides I really don’t think Ray Charles cares.
Are you SURE I will not be disappointed? Are you SURE I will not be disappointed? Are you SURE I will not be disappointed?
The price alone is a disappointment. And, I have never owned a 9 mm and don’t plan to. Yes, I will take a .40, but I still prefer the 45.
