Looking for a top-tier 2011 with the perfect blend of performance, aesthetics, and price?

Let me walk you through some of my favorite options of new 2011s, starting with the more budget-friendly models and ramping up to the premium guns that will make any collector proud.

All of these are new from SHOT Show as we enter 2025. And, if you didn’t know, a 2011 is basically a double-stacked 1911, which most of you are probably already familiar with.

EAA Girsan Witness2311 Match – $989

Kicking things off, the Witness2311 Match is a full-size, double-stack 1911-style pistol chambered in 9mm. This gun is all about performance at an unbeatable price, offering a robust design and impressive features that punch way above its price tag.

With an optic-ready slide and steel frame, it’s great for shooters looking for accuracy and flexibility on a budget.

It’s very exciting to me to think the most affordable 2011 on this list is under $1,000 MSRP and comes with a match-quality trigger. I own past iterations of the EAA Witness2311 and I promise you that this gun is much improved.

The Witness2311 Match X takes the features of the Match and amps them up with a built-in compensator to reduce recoil.

The lightening-cuts in the slide and compensator not only improve the aesthetics but also the functionality, especially for faster follow-up shots.

This is by far the most tricked-out 2011 that you can get for a grand.

The Witness2311 Match X is not only one of the most affordable 2011s on this list, but it also brings some of the most beneficial features for the price. I am particularly excited about this gun.

Alpha Foxtrot is a new gun company to me, but they offer this affordable 2011 that is assembled right here in Georgia! The finish on the Romulus slide/frame is high polish and looks fantastic, but this one had been used and abused at the range and was not clean at the moment.
