Last week, a home invasion in Tennessee took a violent turn when two masked intruders were shot by the homeowner.
The incident unfolded on a Friday evening in Murfreesboro, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.
Son Found At Gunpoint
During their initial investigation, the police said the masked intruders broke in through the front door.
The homeowner, who has opted to remain anonymous, recounted his experience to WTVF-TV. He told them, “I heard my dog make like a noise like something was hurting, and I heard taser.”
He continued, “Then I heard my son holler out ‘Don’t shoot!’ so I knew something wasn’t right then, so I retrieved my gun and came out of my room, and that’s when I saw the intruder had the gun pointed at my son.”
Split Second Decision
Faced with an immediate threat, the homeowner took decisive action, opening fire and successfully neutralizing the intruders.
He said, “It was either them or me – that’s how I was looking at it and I was making sure it wasn’t me or my family.”
Law enforcement authorities found one of the assailants, identified as 52-year-old Kevin Ford, near the front entrance of the house. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second intruder, 42-year-old Clifford Wright, was found at the nearby Salvation Army, having sustained several gunshot wounds. Following treatment at a local hospital, Wright was subsequently taken into custody.
Resulting Charges
🇺🇸 Breaking into a Tennessee home, tasing the family dog, and holding the homeowner's son at gunpoint was undoubtedly a foolish move. This intruder f██ked around and found out.

WSMV reported that Wright faces charges of “aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated burglary, convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent felony.”
He is presently held in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $700,000 bond and is scheduled to appear before the Rutherford County General Sessions Court on June 5.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that the homeowner will not face any charges, recognizing his actions as self-defense. Fox News has released a video recounting several details from the incident.
Homeowner’s Thoughts
Fee Stories did research regarding the effect of having a self-defense firearm in the home.
According to statistics, “Forty percent of convicted felons admitted that they avoided committing crimes when they thought the victim might be armed,” and other statistics show that those who use defensive strategies have lower injury rates after a violent crime.
This final statement from the homeowner very accurately reflects how many people feel in the wake of similar incidents.
Reflecting on the event, the homeowner told WTVF, “I wish it wouldn’t have happened, but I’m glad it went my way instead of their way.”

To bad the second one didn’t die! Well, at least one less POS that won’t be in the streets with us legal gun owners! Shame… missed one!
Shame…..both should have died!
Rock on.
a true patriot
So, this guy faces charges of “aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated burglary, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent felony.” Where’s the premeditated murder charge for the death of his cohort? He plans and executes a plan to break into a house, with a gun (and a taser to do the dog), and tries to consummate his crimes holding someone else at gunpoint. In the course of the commission of those serious felonies, somebody gets dead. If it was the son or the father, there’d be a murder charge. Why not for his “colleague”? — that’s a life ended just like one of the others. This guy will get a few years of three hots and a cot courtesy of the Tennessee taxpayers and then be “rehabilitated” and back out on the street to polish his plan and try again somewhere else. He ought to be put into a cage and locked up forever, or better yet be put to sleep like the dangerous animal he is.
In Georgia, if someone gets killed during an illegal act, you are charged with murder. Sometimes that is used to get a plea bargain, but it has been used.
It’s a cop derived term, called misdemeanor murder. One they don’t give a damn about. Just like another of their terms, testilying. That is actually lying while under oath, or perjury. Both are well known among lawless enforcement. If you have been in there for a year, you are groomed or gone. Oh, another cop term.
Don’t listen to the BS below with misdemeanor murder or what ever BS they used. I know for a fact here in Florida at least you commit a crime with ONE OR A MILLION people and someone ends up dead especially the home owner like my brothers friends went to rob one night and for some stupid reason one of the three or four tards killed the man that they all broke into his house for what I don’t know since he was an old timer and didn’t have crap ALL went to PRISON as TEENS and about FOURTY YEARS LATER at least the one guy who was my brothers best friend got out BUT IS NOW IN HIS LATE FIFTIES and has ZERO skills since all he did was graduate high school! And thing is he wasn’t the one that did a THING as far as participating or being the one who murdered him but did break in with the guy who did kill the home owner and not even sure they robbed the place after one of the three or four guys killed the poor home owner. So even if you do ZERO part of the killing, YOUR AN ACCESSORY TO SAY THE LEEEAASST! The guy WILL BE CHARGED FOR SURE for his dumb ass friends life!
