Wish List

As outdoor companies start sales and promotions on equipment and clothing to usher in the holiday season, many offer some impressive discounts on quality gear as well as introduce the coming year’s lineup of innovations and improvements. Here’s a list of a few things that I’ve used this year or soon hope to. Some careful shopping and/or hint dropping could put one or more of these in your pack for next year.

Let’s dive into 5 items that a new gun owner would appreciate for Christmas. Drop those hints to family, or put it on your own shopping list if you are the “…I want it, so I bought it.” type.

Your relatives might not know the difference between wet and dry tumbling, or the benefits of a carbide sizer die, but that doesn’t mean you should leave reloading supplies off your list to Santa. Now, I can’t help you explain to your grandma how an overall length gauge works, but I can tell you what I’m asking for this year, so at least we can confuse our relatives together.

We may have all we need, but we seldom have all we want. So, here are a few ideas for the competitive or casual shooter, hunter, or outdoorsman (or woman) to put on their list to Santa.

With hunting seasons around the West wrapping up and the holiday season approaching, now is a good time to go through gear, take stock and think of any improvements you’re wanting to make for next fall and add them to your Christmas wish list.
