Trijicon

The MRO as of right now is the best deal I’ve seen in red dots. Familiar performance, Trijicon quality, and a price that is unbeatable. Not to mention, the MRO is 100% American made.

After testing one of these new riflescopes, which are built with the rugged durability you would expect from a company that has spent decades developing optics for the U.S. armed forces, I believe Trijicon has hit the sweet spot in balancing quality and price.

Trijicon has been showing off their powerful, handheld electronic spotting scopes and rangefinders called the Trijicon Ventus and Ventus X.

For years Trijicon’s Miniature Rifle Optic has maintained the gold standard in red dots, but that hasn’t stopped the company from working to improve its legendary design.

Trijicon was first to the game with the micro red dots, almost a decade ago. The purpose-built sights, sized to fit pistols, changed the game with red dot carry and suppressor ready guns. This year, they take that to the next level with theRMR 2.

I just had a badass custom Cerakote job from my friends over at Ops Armory, and the project needs a set of badass sights to top it off.

What do you call a double stack 1911 in 9mm, with an Excalibur level trigger, an RMR, and a threaded barrel? Dan Wesson calls that the Fury. One of the most appropriately named pistols I have seen. I would have to concur. This pistol has roots in paper and steel matches, but God help whoever is on the other end of this as a tactical gun.

Gun people are gear people, period. We love mechanical solutions to problems. So, while you may be able to make a good argument that one might not even use the sights on your pistol in a situation like this, why shortchange yourself? If you have the best gear possible (and train with it accordingly), you will only be better prepared. And, it gives you an excuse to buy more stuff, right?
