When searching for an aftermarket trigger there are a few things to consider. Do you want the lightest competition trigger available, or something with a clean heavier pull to be more duty-oriented? Determine what is important to you, and find something designed to fit those needs.

For example, it can take measurements such as the sideways pressure that you are putting on the trigger shoe and the amount of weight that you used to pull the trigger.

I found a couple of triggers and a couple of spring kits that worked very well for my two rifles and could work for you too.

I love the modularity of the AR-15 rifle. It’s such an excellent platform with more aftermarket support than any other rifle on the market. The aftermarket can make a very simple rifle into nearly anything you want it to be. From a home defense carbine to a designated marksman’s rifle. You can swap and upgrade roughly everything, including the trigger. Today we are talking about a new trigger on the market called the RMT Nomad.

I was more excited about the 22-C1 trigger for the 10/22 (and compatibles) than any other. Why? Because ammo is freaking expensive. Slinging lead is fun, but those 30-round .223 Rem. magazines add up quick. With the 22-C1, you can have the fun of super-fast semi-automatic fire without setting fire to your wallet. You may not win any wars with a 10/22, but it’s one of the best range toys I’ve ever had.

This year at SHOT Show 2022, newcomer Dillon Rifle Company released their OPAR Trigger, standing for On Patrol AR Trigger.

If you are not yet familiar with Langdon Tactical Technologies (LTT), it’s a name you need to know. Founder, Ernest Langdon seems to ferret out the guns in the marketplace that have all the marks of excellence but can be improved to perfection with his Midas touch. And the latest offering from LTT is its treatment of the Hellcat. Langdon is best known for trigger jobs, from drop-in upgrade kits to fully customized overhauls.
