The problem with cheap batteries is that they may leak, they may corrode quickly, or they may have incorrect power regulation. None of which are a good idea in your $1500 laser, or $500 tactical light. Saving a couple of bucks on a battery is a terrible plan if it may destroy the internals of an irreplaceable electronic device.

If you are going to shoot in two different spectrums, you need the ability to illuminate and target ID in both of them.  Enter the SureFire M600V Scout Light. SureFire’s dual output weapon light, helping you see in the visible spectrum as well as IR (infrared).

This year at SHOT Show 2022, SureFire introduced their new TURBO Line of lights. High candela lights that throw a beam a serious beam.

Surefire announced two new compact weapon lights during our time at the 2021 Epic Shoot by Big Daddy Unlimited. Check out the new Micro Scout and XSC weaponlight from Surefire.

Additionally, this light in particular is the V model, standing for Vampire. Denoting the lights ability to produce infrared light as well. So the X400 Vampire is a pistol mounted light that illuminates in both the visible and IR spectrum and also has a IR laser.

SureFire is rolling out a new line of weapon lights called the Scoutlight Pro series with modular visible and infrared and white light systems.

While SureFire makes some amazing equipment for the US Military, they haven’t forgotten about us civilians. This year at SHOT Show 2020 they have introduced the XVL2-IRC, a pistol mounted visible and infrared light/laser module.
