Rebel Silencers is a company that has been around for a decent while, but lately, I heard of them for my first time. When I saw what they had to offer at the price that they were offering it at, I had to get my hands on one of their suppressors and put it to the test. The suppressor that I chose is the SOS-450; a can that they designed specifically with the 450 Bushmaster and 458 Socom in mind. Luckily for me, I just so happen to have a 450 Bushmaster that I wanted to hush.

BY Clay Martin Published: April 6, 2019 { 5 comments }Arguably the least development we have seen on new firearms is in the submachine gun arena. Once the coolest kid on the block, sub guns were a staple of counter-terrorism forces, the world over. Despite many attempts to usurp it, the MP-5 was far and away the weapon of choice.
AAC Halcyon and 556 – New Products From An Industry Leader
BY Clay Martin Published: March 23, 2019 { 2 comments }At a time when “silencers” were mostly the playthings of nerds and collectors, AAC brought attitude. So it is with great pleasure this week I get to write about new options.

H&P Manufacturing Admits They Have the Ugliest Suppressor and They are Proud of It – SHOT Show 2019
BY Riley Baxter Published: February 7, 2019 { 6 comments }One reason that the Ugly Suppressor is so cool is because the gasses are not designed to stay trapped within the suppressor itself. Instead, the gasses flow through an elongated path which allow them to cool without generating extra back pressure. This suppressor design is perfect for semi-auto guns because the ejection speed is not affected by a pressure spike.
