As the story goes, buying a suppressor puts you on “the list”, allowing law enforcement or the ATF to search your house at any time.

This is a review of the suppressor buying process through Silencer Central. 

Almost everyone reading this knows that guns are loud. As we’ve discussed in articles previously, a single gunshot will cause permanent hearing damage. Will suppressors change that and make guns Hollywood quiet? 

Depending on the firearms you own you may need to make some modifications, purchase some adapters, or buy some new guns to attach to your suppressor. 

The reason I personally want all my suppressors and machine guns in an NFA/Gun Trust is simply for this one reason: it makes it possible for other people to legally possess my suppressors, SBR’s, or automatic guns.

On a regular basis, I hear knowledgeable gun owners say that they’d love to own a suppressor but that they don’t want to get a class 3 license. It just isn’t worth the hassle to them.
